The Bank of America plaza, untouched since the original construction in 1992, was completely demolished and reconstructed over the existing parking structure. New terraced concrete seat walls, stairs, and benches were installed to provide a clean, modern public space outside of Atlanta's most recognizable building. Concrete sidewalks and decorative concrete paving helped this project be recognized with an ACI Award of Excellence
